Beginning her Journey with CatholicCare in 2016 as a Case Manager, Kelly progressed to Lead Practitioner and has now moved into a program manager role as the Child, Family and Mental Health Manager. In this role Kelly leads the Children and Parenting programs, Family Mental Health & Support Services and the Specialised Family Violence team supporting those affected by domestic and family violence through counselling, case management and the operation of Safe Houses in Milikapiti and Nauiyu.
These programs cover the breadth of the Northern Territory with staff in, Darwin, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Nauiyu, Tiwi islands, Jabiru and Wadeye.
Before moving to Darwin from the UK in 2016, Kelly held various roles within government and not for profit organisations. She has a strong background in child protection and early intervention.
Kelly is passionate about creating change, upholding human rights, and creating safe and welcoming support environments for parents, children and families. She believes that support and great services should be accessible to all.
Currently studying towards a Master of Social Work, Kelly also holds a Bachelor of Politics and Peace Studies, Bachelor of Conflict Resolution and Graduate Diplomas in Community Development and AOD Counselling.
