Dinesh Sapkota - CatholicCare NT

Dinesh joined CatholicCare NT in 2014 as the IT and Infrastructure Coordinator and has recently taken on a new challenge as IT Manager, focusing on ICT Governance.

Dinesh came to Australia from Nepal in 2007 to purse studies at Latrobe University and now holds a Masters in Telecommunication Engineering.  Prior to moving to Australia, Dinesh completed a Bachelor in Information Technology Engineering and worked in Information Technology in private, not-for-profit and education sectors.  He is currently a member of the Australian Computer Society.

Dinesh is proud to be a part of CatholicCare NT and he feels it is a privilege to work for a Catholic organisation despite coming from a different cultural background, as everyone is treated as one human family, regardless of their nationality, religious, ethnic, economic, political and ideological differences.

Leading the IT team, Dinesh is responsible for the delivery of IT services such as ensuring effective operation of the computer system, reporting and provision and distribution of IT equipment, in accordance with organisational policies and strategies.
