Congratulations to Leicha Meteer! Winner of the National Disability Services, Outstanding Leader of the Year 2024 - CatholicCare NT

Oh what a night! Congratulations to Leicha Meteer on winning the National Disability Service’s Outstanding Leader of the Year Award 2024 on Monday 9 December.

Nominees for this individual Award have demonstrated exceptional leadership. The person will be employed in a disability sector organisation and demonstrate exceptional guidance, vision, integrity, decision-making, courage and leadership to build the confidence and competency of the people around them and influence others to provide innovative and high-quality support to people with disability.

It was an exciting win and we are really proud of Leicha’s achievement. The awards attracted more than 150 nominations from disability services across Australia so this recognition is significant.

The CatholicCare NT NDIS team also received a highly commended award for the Excellence in Regional and Remote Support Organisation category. The APY Lands Team also attended the Awards ceremony in recognition of this achievement.
