Aged Care Advocacy

Providing free advocacy support and information about aged care services.

CatholicCare NT advocacy staff work closely with:

  • nursing home residents and their families
  • persons receiving care in their home through a community or extended aged care package
  • potential clients of aged care services.

We:

  • help people receiving aged care services or their representatives to resolve problems or complaints in relation to aged care services through the provision of advocacy
  • support people receiving aged care services to be involved in decisions that affect their life
  • provide people receiving aged care services with information and advice about their rights and responsibilities
  • promote the rights of people receiving aged care services to care service providers.
